The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is a Canadian cultural institution presenting traditional and contemporary folk and roots music artists. The Festival draws 38,000+ enthusiastic attendees annually to Jericho Beach Park. In collaboration with 15 Emily Carr students, we created a variety of fine arts installations for the festival. Our task was to create interactive art pieces for the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. We as a class decided to create a mural and sculptures. We worked on this project for 6 months from Spring-Summer 2016. We worked in a fieldhouse in Marpole Vancouver.
